In 1985, La Sanglière introduced HorseGuard, the original tape that redefined the standards of electric fencing.
Created by Serge Lecacheur, an experienced European breeder with a strong commitment to equine safety, this pioneering traditional tape was awarded first prize in three separate categories.

HorseGuard Bi-Polar electric tape fencing is an effective visual, mental and physical barrier powered by a low impedance fence charger strong enough to maintain a minimum of 4,000 up to 8000 volt on the tape.
